KIRYU IS GOD!
The more I see ofHokuto ga Gotoku, Sega’s upcomingFist of the North Stargame helmed byRyu ga Gotokustudio, the more I want it. This latest trailer (taken from a livestream) better shows off how the combat flows and even gives us a small glimpse of the Kiryu Kazuma add-on DLC that will be included with the game’spremium editionin Japan. If you need any further proof that Kiryu is a bad ass, this footage should settle things.
What surprises me the most is that this engine looks like it is based onYakuza 0instead of6orKiwami 2. While that is probably a good sign for die hard series fans who aren’t too keen on the newest installments, it does seem weird to create a whole new engine and then throw it out. Whatever the case, this game looks outstanding and I’m still hoping we get confirmation of a Western release soon.
