Even for people who completed all of the necessary My Nintendo goals way in advance and were around when the pinsbecame availablefrom Nintendo’s shop, it was still a mad dash to get an order placed before the servers came crashing down and the supply ran out. It’s been one of those years.
In all of the hustle and bustle lately, the pins slipped my mind… until they showed up at my door.
Having gotten my fair share of less-than-stellar collectible gaming stuff over the years, I’m pleasantly surprised by how well they turned out. They’re solid. And the box, in particular, is a nice little touch. I’m not sure I’ll ever stick them on my laptop bag – I don’t want to lose them! – but I’m glad I bought them.
Here are the pins up closewith some fresh Halloween candy and a big-ass thing of Tums for scale.
