Was it worth the wait?
Activision’s tried to put it off for as long as possible, but has finally released a real gameplay trailer forThe Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. Now the day’s finally arrived, I don’t even know what to say.
In all honesty, it really doesn’t look much better thanthe leaked footagethat was supposed to be in no way indicative of the finished game’s quality. I continue to be amazed at just how sloppy this game looks. Yes, it’s clearly being rushed to capitalize on the license, but even so, you’d think they’d at leasttryand make it look like a current-gen title.
All that said, visual quality does not automatically communicate quality of gameplay, and Terminal Reality may still surprise us with a game that plays far better than it looks. I’m going to try my best to keep an open mind.
