The Monstro Town hidden treasure chest is very easy to find inSuper Mario RPG.

It’s right by the exit, next to the bush. That’s it. Here’s the screenshot for reference since I imagine there’s a good chance you’re just here for the picture and don’t really need me to explain anything else.

Look at it. That is the Monstro Town hidden treasure chest in all its glory. It contains a Flower, so enjoy the extra Flower Point.

Now, I can’t let an article go live at only 80 words for several reasons. So for the remainder of this article, I am going to talk about how I think for theSuper Mario RPGremake, the hidden boss Culex should have definitely had a new form whereOne-Winged Angelplays. Think about it. Mario and Bowser sitting there looking at a monstrosity imagined by Tetsuya Nomura while ominous Latin chanting fills the background. Except in my head, I’m imagining they replace the choir with a bunch of Toads singing just to add to the atmosphere. Maybe write some new lyrics too. I’m thinking like:

Hey you MarioHere I am, in 2DI won’t let you goYou will bow down to meCulex time!Culex time!

And then later it’s like:

Mari-Mari-Mario,Now I’m castingMeteoMari-Mari-MarioI will break all of your toes

And that’s when Cloud Strife comes in and is like “Need a sword, buster?” which then not only lets Cloud join the party, but also lets Mario learn Omnislash. Also, Mario uses a Keyblade sincehe was already confirmed a Keyblade wielder thanks to that oneSmash Bros. trailer.
