Witcher 2 free on Games for Gold

This animated video offers a bit of background on magic in the world and what a “witcher” is aside from a word we are all okay with because we’ve seen it for a few years now, even if we haven’t played the game.
I’ve yet to crack into the first twoWitchers (the second is now free with Games of Gold), but I’m terribly excited forThe Witcher 3‘s open world. I’m okay with picking up lore—or not–as I go along. I just want to chase monsters and fight things.
