Just a few days ago, Nintendo unveiledThe Legend of Zelda: Tri Force Heroesto the world. It’s a three-player co-op game that will actually feature online support, but just likeSplatoon, Nintendo is forgoing the feature for the final release.

Speaking to the Verge, director Hiromasa Shikata stated that, “With voice chat, what we would see is a highlight in the difference of experience levels between the players. Higher players would tell lower players what to do, and lower players would wonder why they’re being told what to do.” He goes on to note that emoticons have “created a new form of communication,” and implies that it will be enough to get by.
